High Bank
April 19, 2003

Our first visit to the little canyon above High Bank was simply awesome. It had just stopped raining, and the area was like a lush tropical rainforest with some big Ozarks boulders thrown in. I've never seen such thick green moss. Although the water coming down the twin falls was only about like a hard rain, the eighty-foot sandstone bluff was impressive. Cliff recognized some Devil's Urn mushrooms from a book we have at home, and he found a big snail to play with.
