Deep Hollow Bluff
September 7, 2003

Work has finally let up some so we got up early on a Sunday morning to check out a geocache at a scenic overlook called Deep Hollow Bluff in the White Rock vicinity. Before we left, I used a topo map on the computer to figure out GPS coordinates for what looked the correct road to this bluff. As has happened several times in the past, the GPS method took us down the wrong road, and we found ourselves at one point several miles down a road that turned into a narrow, grown up jeep trail. I put several new scratches on my truck.
Once we found the correct road and the parking area, it was a short walk down to the overlook. Cliff took his BB gun along, and the boys took turns shooting cans we found at a deer camp.
